Founded by Andrew O'Hanlon in 1992 Occhio Eyewear (formerly known as Nou Vogue) opened the Exhibition Street store, and has been servicing the needs of the fashion conscious corporate market since.

In 2004, when the GPO was being restored to an elite fashion center, Occhio saw this as an opportunity to position itself as an exclusive eyewear fashion house that would sell European Eyewear at affordable prices.

In 2007, as eyewear trends evolved and become more artistic and colourful, Occhio again pushed its barriers to incorporate a specialty boutique store in Brunswick St Fitzroy, which captured the soul and bohemian style of the area.

With three convenient locations, we cater to our clients busy lifestyle by opening:

• Shop M02, Melb GPO, 350 Bourke St (Mon - Sat 10-6)
• Shop 4, 234 Brunswick St Fitzroy (Tues - Sat 10-6)

Occhio offers a full range of professional optometry and contact lens testing, in store lens manufacturing, while-you-wait spectacle fitting and adjustments, full extended 18-month Factory Warranty and lifetime free adjustments by qualified staff.

OCCHIO VISION CARE

In keeping with Occhio’s passion for the industry and our focus on being innovative for our clients, we are very proud to have launched Occhio Vision Care (“OVC”), a ‘first’ in Australia. OVC is a unique service we offer to our corporate, commercial and industrial clients, and includes the provision of On-site testing and Corrective Safety Eyewear Services. OVC comes to the employer, and conducts eye examinations, prescribes and delivers corrective and safety eyewear.
